This is a survey regarding the publishing a consumer newsletter related to mental health & addictions service users in New Zealand and the territories and states of Australia.
The background and key points include:
* A New Zealand newsletter called "about us" was funded until recently and edited by Colin Slade of Wellington
* That funding has now ceased
* Colin has indicated he is interested to perhaps continue with the editor role but unsure how to proceed given resource constraints
* A discussion on a New Zealand consumer forum BINZ has lead to the development of this survey. You may join binz here: http://groups.yahoo.com/group/binz/
* This survey is to gauge the possible interest for a consumer newsletter for New Zealand and Australia....or not
* The purpose is to further our localised discussion on BINZ by widening the input and views and to also be more systematic and purposeful in the process of collating views about the newsletter idea.
* all responses are confidential and no individuals or organisations will be named in the evaluation report
* Privacy statement: the survey results will only be used to disseminate the information about the newsletter
* The results of the survey will be reported to binz and to everyone who fills out this survey and who indicates they want to receive the summary survey results
* Keepwell is voluntarily supporting the design, development and dissemination of this survey. There is no monetary interest in this process to Keepwell or Arana Pearson.
